Inspect Your Solar Panels Regularly To Extend Their Life

Aug 26, 2024|

Frequent maintenance checks can reveal potential problems such as loose racking, exposed wiring, and other areas of concern. In addition to your solar panels, you'll want to make sure your racking system is secure and your inverter is performing well. Depending on the type of inverter you install, you may need to replace it about halfway through the life of your panels; microinverters generally offer the same lifespan as their solar panel counterparts, but centralized string inverters have a lifespan closer to 10 to 15 years.

We recommend hiring a professional to inspect your equipment rather than doing it yourself. Scratching or otherwise damaging the panels on your roof may void your warranty.
